Informationsort Schwerbelastungskörper

Berlin, Berlin

A huge concrete cylinder in the middle of Berlin was built under the Nazis as a test body for their urban planning. On the site, three information stelae tell the story of the place, a viewing tower conveys the scale of the plans, and a pavilion looks after visitors. The interior can currently be reached only through a pedestrian tunnel.
