Housed in the Renaissance town hall on Vratislavovo náměstí, the museum covers folk culture of the northern Horácko region, glassmaking, ironworking and the town's history. Skiing gets the most space, with many exhibits on ski making and the history of skiing around Nové Město. The Renaissance hall and stone entrance portal survive from the original 16th-century house.
