Hohhaus-Museum Lauterbach

Lauterbach, Hessen

A small Baroque palace built between 1770 and 1778 for the Riedesel barons of Eisenbach now houses Lauterbach's town museum. Inside you can see a Rococo hall, a Biedermeier room, an altar room and a China room, alongside craft workshops such as a rope-maker's and a leatherworker's. There is also a museum print shop and a historical classroom. The collection has been shown in the house since 1931.
