Herrenhaus der Herzöge von Mecklenburg

This Baroque mansion on Ratzeburg's cathedral close was built in 1764 for a Mecklenburg duke who never once set foot in it. Today it houses the district museum of Herzogtum Lauenburg. It is the town's most important secular building, worth a look even from outside.
