Heimatstube Bleyen
Bleyen-Genschmar, Brandenburg
A half-timbered house in Bleyen, a Oderbruch village of fishermen and farmers, shows life as it used to be in six rooms: a wash house, parlour, workshop, living kitchen, nursery and fisherman's room. A separate photo exhibition documents the great Oder flood of 1997 and the situation in the village that July. Papers and photographs on local history round it off.
