Heimatmuseum Margarethenried-Hörgertshausen

Farm work and country life in the Freising area since about 1800 are the subject of this local museum, housed in a former Raiffeisen warehouse. Over more than 400 square metres you will find farm vehicles and machinery, a cobbler's workshop and a complete farrier's forge. A furnished parlour and bedroom and a 1930s kitchen show everyday life over the last hundred years. The collection began in 1961 in the village school of Margarethenried.
