Heidemuseum Rischmannshof

Walsrode, Niedersachsen

A thatched hall house of 1798 is the heart of this open-air museum, which opened as early as 1912. Around it stand a hireling's house, a bee fence, a stair-granary from 1669, a bakehouse from 1752 and a timber-framed barn with a workshop. The main house keeps its traditional layout of living rooms, hearth area and threshing hall. A branch occupies the old village school in Klein Eilstorf.
