Hans-Fallada-Museum

Feldberger Seenlandschaft, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

In Carwitz near Feldberg, the writer Hans Fallada lived from 1933 to 1944 with his wife and three children in a half-timbered house dating from about 1848. He altered it several times and added a veranda, seeking distance from Berlin and a rural life in which to write. Today the listed house is a museum devoted to Fallada.
