Gustav Klimt Zentrum

Schörfling am Attersee, Oberösterreich

Gustav Klimt spent many summers at Lake Attersee between 1900 and 1916, and most of his more than 50 landscape paintings were made here. This centre in Schörfling is devoted to that period, with a permanent exhibition and its own Klimt cinema. A themed Klimt trail leads out into the countryside that inspired the painter.
