Große Kunstschau Worpswede

This brick building of 1927 stands in the centre of Worpswede, designed by Bernhard Hoetger as an extension to the Kaffee Worpswede. His expressionist style shapes the whole structure, with its irregular plan and varied roof forms. It is one of the village's four museums, in the place where an artists' colony formed in 1889.
