Galeria Sztuki Polskiej XIX wieku w Sukiennicach

Rynek Główny w Krakowie, małopolskie

On the upper floor of the Renaissance Cloth Hall in the middle of the Main Market Square hangs the largest permanent display of 19th-century Polish painting and sculpture in the country. Four rooms lead from the Enlightenment and Romanticism through realism and Impressionism to early Symbolism. The gallery began with Henryk Siemiradzki's gift of his monumental Nero's Torches.
