Fürstliche Hofreitschule Bückeburg

Bückeburg, Niedersachsen

The old stables of Bückeburg Palace once housed the riding and carriage horses of the princes of Schaumburg-Lippe, right up to the 1950s. Today this horse museum shows the riding art of the Baroque and the old breeds of Baroque horses. The buildings date from 1609 to 1622 and include a riding hall with a covered arena. Riding demonstrations are held on weekends between April and October.
