Friedrich-Wilhelm-Weber-Museum
Bad Driburg, Nordrhein-Westfalen
This small museum fills the half-timbered house of 1793 where the doctor, politician and poet Friedrich Wilhelm Weber was born. Rooms around the central threshing floor cover his family, his work as a country doctor, his years in the Prussian parliament, his poetry and village life. You will see pictures, documents, editions and translations of his verse epic Dreizehnlinden, and some poems in his own handwriting.
