Francisco Carolinum
Linz, Oberösterreich
Photography and media art, both national and international, have been the focus of this art museum in Linz since 2020. It opened in 1895 as a museum covering many fields, in a building designed by the Düsseldorf architects Otto van Els and Bruno Schmitz. It is named after Archduke Franz Karl. Oddly, since 2021 it also has a virtual branch in the Cryptovoxels metaverse.
