Forum Gesseler Goldhort

Syke, Niedersachsen

This archaeological museum is built around the Bronze Age Gessel gold hoard, discovered in 2011. The pyramid-shaped, tile-clad building adjoins the Kreismuseum Syke. The exhibition fills 240 square metres upstairs, while downstairs there is a hands-on lab with a viewable store and six research tables, plus a café.
