In the Villa Augustin, once home to Erich Kästner's uncle and often visited by the young writer, a compact interactive museum opens up his life and work. Thirteen movable modules with coloured drawers each stand for a different aspect; pull them open to find original items, books and videos. Many places nearby appear in Kästner's childhood memoir.
