Elfleins-Häusla

This half-timbered house from before 1700 shows how a blacksmith's family in Rödelsee lived and worked in the 19th and 20th centuries. The fully preserved forge is the centrepiece, and a trained smith demonstrates the craft several times a year. You also see the living room with its old kitchen, the children's room and the parents' bedroom, plus the stable, vaulted cellar and fodder room, all equipped with historic tools. The last resident left the house unchanged until 1981.
