Dom Jana Matejki w Krakowie

This is the house where painter Jan Matejko lived with his family, on Floriańska Street just off Kraków's Old Town. The tenement dates back to the 16th century; Matejko took it over in 1871 and had it rebuilt over two years. It has been open as a museum since 1895 and is a branch of the National Museum in Kraków.
