Diamantschleifermuseum

Brücken, Rheinland-Pfalz

This museum is all about diamonds and the trade that shaped the Brücken area for over a century. Ten original workstations from different periods show how stones were cut, supported by information boards, videos and demonstrations. It also explains the history of gemstones and the diamond industry. The first cutting workshop in the Ohmbach valley opened in 1888.
