Deutsches Zinnfigurenmuseum

Kulmbach, Bayern

Inside the Plassenburg fortress above Kulmbach, tin figures number in the hundreds of thousands. In the arsenal building, 170 dioramas over several floors show historic events and scenes from everyday life. The showpiece is the diorama of the conquest of Kulmbach on 26 November 1553, which recreates the city's black day with more than 19,500 figures.
