Everything here revolves around the potato: its botany, breeding and origins, how it spread, and how it came to be grown in the Palatinate and in Prussia, where Frederick the Great promoted it. Part of the museum is housed in Fußgönheim's former synagogue, built in 1842. Admission is free.
