Büchnerhaus

The dramatist Georg Büchner was born in 1813 in this half-timbered house, built in 1665. The permanent exhibition, From Goddelau to the World Stage, traces his life through room installations of objects, pictures and quotations, while video collages cover his influence. Upstairs is a library with a reading room and archive devoted to Büchner.
