Berndorfer Schulen

Berndorf, Niederösterreich

Two schools in Berndorf, opened in 1909, are decorated inside like a journey through architectural history. Each classroom imitates a different style, among them Egyptian, Doric, Moorish, Pompeian, Byzantine and Gothic. Industrialist Arthur Krupp funded them so that workers' children could learn history through vivid surroundings.
