Bergbaumuseum Peißenberg
Peißenberg, Bayern
In the former colliery building, 14 rooms tell the story of Upper Bavarian coal, from its formation to the last shift. The highlight of the tour is a ride on the mine train into the deep adit, with a demonstration coal face and a show blast. The exhibit hall holds large machinery such as a steam locomotive, mine trains and a pneumatic hammer.
