Bauernmuseum Schlepzig

Schlepzig, Brandenburg

Set in an old farmstead dating to 1818, this museum shows how Spreewald farmers lived in the 19th and 20th centuries. The attic covers the region's history and customs, while the stable barn shows flax processing, linen-making, beekeeping, forestry and fishing. Old farm machines, including a wooden plough, tractors and combine harvesters, stand in the field barn. The listed yard covers 5,000 square metres.
