This former miners' house from the 16th century shows how a farming family in Ellmau lived and worked. The parlour, kitchen, bedroom and pantry are furnished, and the threshing floor, bee house and garden belong to the farmstead. Exhibits cover dairy, arable, hunting and forestry work, trades such as shoemaking, cooperage, tailoring and weaving, as well as popular piety, costumes, the village school, fire brigade, mountain rescue and mining.
