Barka Lemara

Bydgoszcz, kujawsko-pomorskie

This museum of river-boatmen and skipper traditions is set up aboard a cargo barge built in 1937, permanently moored on the Brda in central Bydgoszcz, on Spichlerna Street. The displays fill the converted holds. The barge worked waters in both Poland and Germany until it left service in 2006, and its name comes from the first syllables of its owner's parents, Leon and Maria.
