Archäologisches Freilichtmuseum Groß Raden

Sternberg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

A reconstructed Slavic settlement stands on the shore of the Radener See, based on excavations carried out between 1973 and 1980 that uncovered a village of the 9th and 10th centuries. The circular rampart, 50 metres across, is visible from afar on a peninsula. Finds from the Slavic fort at Behren-Lübchin were also used in the reconstruction.
