Allmers-Haus
Hagen im Bremischen, Niedersachsen
After a trip to Italy, the poet Hermann Allmers had his parents' house on the Weser, and its garden, redesigned with the help of artist friends. He wanted to give his home region a place for art and history. The moated farmstead, with a hall house dating from 1731, is a listed monument and is used today as a museum and cultural venue.
