Skansen Kolei Leśnej w Janowie Lubelskim

On the edge of Janów Lubelski stands an open-air museum of narrow-gauge railway rolling stock. The line carried timber through the Janów Forests from Biłgoraj to the village of Lipa between 1941 and 1984. You can see a Las47 steam locomotive and a WLs50 diesel engine, plus log wagons, passenger cars for workers, a tanker and platforms. The stock was rescued in 1999 from Szklarnia, where it was decaying, and restored. It suits anyone fond of railways and technology.
