Beneath an ordinary villa on Słupska Street lies a Cold War bunker, built in the late 1950s and early 1960s as a civil defence command post in case of nuclear war. Across roughly 500 square metres you see offices, a telephone exchange and the command centre, behind walls a metre thick and a ceiling two metres thick. Its existence was kept secret until 2000, and its location was only revealed in 2012.
