Muzeum Bursztynu w Jarosławcu

This private museum by the Baltic Sea is all about amber. Three permanent exhibitions present a reconstructed amber forest, a recreated underground amber mine and a hall of inclusions. Highlights include a 2906 g piece, the second largest in Poland, and rare inclusions such as a grasshopper, a pine cone and an oak inflorescence, plus a small piece of blue Baltic amber.
