Horácká galerie v Novém Městě na Moravě

The regional gallery of the Vysočina highlands is housed in the château at Nové Město na Moravě and looks after almost 10,000 works of art. Its most notable holdings are large sculpture collections from the estates of leading 20th-century sculptors, among them Josef Mařatka, Jan Štursa and Vincenc Makovský. It also collects regional landscape painting and the work of glass artists linked to the Škrdlovice glassworks. The gallery was founded in 1964.
