Stadtmuseum Zweibrücken

This town museum tells the story of Zweibrücken and the former Duchy of Palatinate-Zweibrücken. The collection grew from a local historian's idea of 1913/14; the first museum, in the Spitalturm, was destroyed when the old town was bombed in 1945. The collection was rebuilt after the war, partly from finds salvaged from the rubble.
