Muzeum Kultury Ludowej w Osieku nad Notecią

This open-air museum spreads over 13 hectares and shows the village life of northern Greater Poland, from the Krajna and Pałuki areas to the Noteć Forest. You can walk among 28 buildings, including a wooden farmhouse from Lipka dating to 1843. Archaeological pavilions stand on the very ground where a burial site was found by chance in 1972. Excavations uncovered 581 cremation burials, and the displays include clay vessels, tools, weapons and bronze ornaments.
