Kempten-Museum

In the historic Zumsteinhaus beside Kempten's town park, this museum traces more than 2,000 years of the town's history up to the present day. Its collection includes paintings, archaeological and folk-life objects and media, drawing on the former Allgäu Museum, natural history museum and Roman museum. A distinctive feature is the participatory approach: photographs, documents and objects that local people link with their town are part of the displays.
