Hammerschmiede Maximilian

Two overshot water wheels drive the machines of this hammer forge through a transmission, including a double forge fire and a large drop hammer. Built in 1889 and in use until 1985, it has been restored and its machinery can still be demonstrated. A small museum upstairs shows the story of the former owner family and their working life.
