Feuerwehrmuseum Kaufbeuren-Ostallgäu

This Kaufbeuren museum traces how firefighting developed, with its main focus on the period since the mid-19th century, when the first volunteer fire brigades were formed. The collection grew from items that the town's own firefighters began gathering in 1986. Since 2017 it has been shown in larger premises on the former Momm site, after years in the old Spittelmühle.
