Dampflok Erlebniswelt Meiningen

This interactive technology museum beside the Meiningen steam locomotive works shows how a steam engine is built: on 600 square metres stands a Prussian T 13 cut open in three places, with a cab you can walk into. It occupies the former canteen of the railway repair works, restored outside and completely rebuilt inside, with 900 square metres of exhibition space. It opened in 2024.
