Alt-Rothenburger Handwerkerhaus

This little house in Rothenburg's old town dates from 1270 and sheltered a range of craftsmen over the centuries. A hermit lived there last, at a time when other medieval houses were being modernised inside, so it remained barely altered. It offers a rare impression of everyday living in medieval Rothenburg.
