Universitätsmuseum für Islamische Kunst

Begun as a private collection and now part of Bamberg University, this museum centres on early Islamic metalwork from the Iranian world. Ceramics, glass, and a selection of manuscripts, coins, stone pieces and ivory carvings round it out, showing how the different materials relate technically and artistically.
