Muzeum Žlutice

This town museum in Žlutice traces the history of the town and its surroundings. Its displays have included archaeological finds from Nevděk castle, a model of Žižka's battle at Vladař, the epitaph of the Kokořov family and a facsimile of the Žlutice songbook. The visit also took in the old town lock-up and the historic underground passages, where stone fragments are kept in a lapidarium. The collection goes back to 1900 and partly comes from a former museum in Bochov.
