Villa Wessel

This villa from 1891, with its raised terrace, rough-stone wall, balustrade and a portal in Westphalian Baroque style, now houses an art association. Its exhibitions run from classical modernism to major contemporary trends, with a focus on early post-war art, reflecting the artistic circle of Wilhelm Wessel and Irmgart Wessel-Zumloh, who lived in the house.
