Trachtenmuseum

This museum in the Baroque Greisinghaus of 1717 is devoted to the costume of the Ochsenfurt district, the most richly decorated in Lower Franconia. You see festive, Marian-image and everyday dress, along with pearl gloves, prayer books, embroidered shoes, velvet and silk bodices and garnet cross pendants. The second floor covers laundry care, how the costumes were made and costume today. A dressing room, the Anziehkämmerle, invites visitors to try things on.
