Sudetendeusche Heimatstube

Costumes and documents tell the story of the Sudeten Germans in this small local heritage room, which follows the community's history across more than 800 years. It also shows what expulsion and a fresh start meant in practice: 586 Sudeten Germans found a new home in Bönnigheim after 1945/46. The guiding motto of the display is: let the foreign land become home, but never let home become foreign to you.
