This memorial looks at how justice and prisons worked under the Nazis. Wolfenbüttel's prison was the main place of detention in the former state of Brunswick, and the documentation centre tells its story in an interactive permanent exhibition that anyone can walk into. The former execution site and other historic places inside the prison's secure area can only be visited in groups with advance booking. Admission is free.
