Steinzeitmuseum Platt

Housed in a double wine-press building with a tree-trunk press more than 200 years old, this small museum in Platt shows Stone Age and Bronze Age finds, all of them dug up locally. Its motto, Stone Age and Wine Age, ties the village's very long settlement history to the region's winegrowing and Heuriger tavern culture. You get archaeology and a traditional wine-cellar setting in one visit.
