Stadtmuseum Kirchschlag

Fifteen rooms over two floors trace how Kirchschlag grew from a small church settlement in the 12th century into a town, officially raised to that status in 2002. The local history museum sits right beside the late Gothic parish church, in a building from the late 18th or early 19th century that once housed a school, a savings bank and the municipal office.
