Sládečkovo vlastivědné muzeum v Kladně

Kladno's regional museum grew from a collection begun in 1899, which included gravestones, paintings and sculptures rescued from the town's old church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, demolished in 1897. It tells the story of Kladno and its surroundings. It is named after Antonín Sládeček, its first director after the interwar revival, who began cataloguing the collections.
