Seemanshus

This local history museum fills an old brick islander's house from around 1800, one of the oldest buildings on Langeoog. You walk through the living room, veranda and guest rooms, where pictures and everyday objects show how island life has changed over time. The house began as a farm, as many island homes did, and today it also serves as a venue for civil weddings.
